Austria, Morrocco, Belgium and Iceland in particular, but I love exploring all kinds of places.
After visiting New York in 2009, my team and I were set a photography brief for American brand Free People. The photographs aimed to project the brand’s free spirited, bohemian personality.
I chose to use an old film SLR camera for the shoot which enabled me to experiment with different light exposure techniques, adding interest to the photographs.

During my second year of university, we were set the brief to create a brand new zine. My team and I chose to focus on underground talent across the arts - young creatives that we thought deserved wider recognition.
As the writer for the zine I got to interview some fantastic people, including Brighton based photographer Sam Hiscox, and I thoroughly enjoyed the project. Factory Zine: The Underground Issue went on sale at the 2010 London Zine Symposium and the first ever Nottingham Zine Fair, held this May.

These three adverts were created in response to a collaboration brief set at university. The White Company were to launch a new range of luxury scented and moisturising bed linen, and I was set the task of developing the advertising.
Keeping the promotion in line with The White Company’s existing advertising was essential - both in medium and in style, therefore three print campaigns were developed with the minimalist aesthetic of the company in mind. To engage the reader the camomile and lavendar campaigns would use scented paper, and all three would be printed on 200gsm silk paper to reflect the quality of range.
The ingredient brand of the collaboration was Devan Chemicals, and so whilst the company should be recognised on the advertising, I was careful to not include the ‘Chemical’ aspect, as this might give negative connotations.
